The work in scope

A social programme your team can review

What would white-label social media include?

A scoped organic social programme can cover channel planning, a content calendar, post creation, agency review and reporting.

The proposal must confirm platforms, publishing access and response responsibilities before the work begins.

Part of the White Label Australia team. Start here; add other disciplines when the account needs them.

Channel and audience plan

Agree who each channel needs to reach, what the client wants people to do and how social supports the wider account plan.

Content calendar and briefs

Turn agreed themes, campaigns and client source material into a calendar with review dates and a named approver.

Posts in the client’s voice

Prepare copy and agreed creative formats using the brand guide, supplied assets and approved factual claims. Photography and video production need their own scope.

Approval and publishing handoff

Record feedback and final approval before publication. Confirm whether the agency publishes or grants the team the access required for agreed scheduling.

Reporting and next decisions

Connect reach, engagement and tracked actions to the purpose of the channel. Explain what to repeat, change or stop without presenting followers as revenue.

From brief to review

From the brief to an approved calendar

  1. Agree the boundaries

Name the platforms, formats, review dates, publishing responsibilities and any response or escalation requirements.

  2. Plan the first cycle

Build the calendar around the client’s goals and available evidence. Your agency confirms the plan and supplies missing context.

  3. Create and review

Prepare the agreed assets, collect agency feedback and record approval before the publishing handoff.

  4. Read the results

Review the agreed measures and the next content decisions with your account team.

Make the social scope explicit
  • Organic social is distinct from paid social advertising; media buying belongs in the paid-media scope.
  • Platforms, post volumes, revisions and response expectations must be confirmed in the proposal.
  • Community management, direct messages, crisis response and coverage outside agreed working windows are not implied.
  • Your agency keeps the client relationship and owns the final approval before content is published.
  • Client-data use, AI tools, image rights and asset ownership are agreed before production.

Before we start

A few useful details.

Do you work with agencies in New Zealand and Australia?

Yes. We support agencies in both countries under their own brand. Agree NZST or NZDT and AEST or AEDT working windows, review deadlines, currency and applicable tax treatment in the proposal.

Is paid social included?

Paid campaigns require an agreed paid-media scope. Organic content planning and posting do not include advertising spend, campaign setup or ongoing media management by default.

Which social platforms are covered?

Confirm the platforms and formats in the proposal. The channel choice follows the client’s audience and the team’s agreed capabilities; we agree platform coverage around the client’s audience and account needs.

Who approves and publishes posts?

Your agency names the approver. Publication follows recorded approval and the access model in the scope, whether your team publishes or the agreed scheduling work sits with LOKAL.

Do you handle comments and direct messages?

Only if that work is explicitly agreed. Response windows, escalation rules and sensitive topics need named owners before community management starts.

Can social start as our first service?

Bring the account goal and the work you need. Confirm the available social scope and team before committing to a starting plan.
