MANILA — SYDNEY QUESTION → EVIDENCE → ANSWER

AEO Services Australia

Write the answer a buyer can use—even when no machine is watching.

An AI system cannot rescue a page that never answers the question. Publishing dozens of thin definitions is no better. The useful unit is a passage that makes sense on its own, carries its evidence and still helps the person who lands on the page.

Bring one question that matters

Send the page, question and evidence you already have. We will tell you whether it needs a better passage, a different canonical owner or the wider AI SEO work around it.

The short answer

What do AEO services actually change?

Answer Engine Optimisation turns important buyer questions into complete, evidence-backed passages on the right canonical pages. LOKAL researches the question, interviews or verifies the source, edits the answer for people first, connects it to the relevant entity and commercial next step, then observes whether search and answer systems find and cite it over repeat runs.

What the work contains

One useful answer has more craft in it than a keyword

Question and intent map

Separate definition, comparison, process, cost and risk questions, then assign each one to the page that already owns the buyer’s next decision.

  • Observed buyer language
  • One canonical page owner
  • Commercial handoff

Expert and evidence brief

Collect the operating detail, source, limitation and approval behind the answer before a writer turns it into confident prose.

  • Named subject owner
  • Primary evidence where available
  • Claim and permission check

Answer passage editing

Put the direct answer immediately below a useful question heading, then add the explanation, examples or table a real reader needs to act on it.

  • Complete first answer
  • Plain Australian English
  • Passage that survives extraction

Page and entity alignment

Connect the passage to the right service, organisation, author, proof and related page. Structured data describes those relationships; it does not invent authority.

  • Clear entity references
  • Contextual internal links
  • Appropriate schema only

Human page QA

Review the answer in the actual page at desktop and mobile sizes. It must remain readable, specific and useful without the heading stack or decorative layout around it.

  • Mobile reading order
  • Accessible media and alt text
  • No answer hidden for machines

Repeat observation

Record the same questions after publication and keep the exact cited source and framing beside the result. A favourable one-off screenshot is not a trend.

  • Fixed question panel
  • Named, cited and recommended separated
  • Change annotations

How it moves

From a sales question to an approved answer

  1. 01

    Choose the questions

Use search results, sales calls, support conversations and product knowledge to find decisions worth answering—not every phrase a tool exports.

  2. 02

    Assign the owner

Place each question on the service, guide or comparison page that can answer it fully without splitting an existing query cluster.

  3. 03

    Build and review

Interview the expert, verify the source, draft the direct answer and review the claim, page experience and next step together.

  4. 04

    Publish and observe

Ship the page, annotate the change and repeat the agreed search and answer panel while normal traffic and enquiry measures continue.

What you can verify

The deliverable can be inspected before the result arrives

Owner map

Every question has an address

The brief records the intended page owner and why the answer belongs there, reducing duplicate pages and internal competition.

Source line

Every material claim has a boundary

The answer record keeps its source, period, permission and limitation beside the copy that will be published.

Run log

Every observation keeps its context

The panel stores the question, system, date, cited URL and framing so movement can be reviewed instead of reconstructed from screenshots.

Before the scope

What AEO is not

  • AEO is not a promise that an answer engine will cite, recommend or rank the company.
  • A question heading and FAQ schema do not repair an unsupported, evasive or duplicated answer.
  • Most questions should strengthen an existing page; LOKAL does not recommend one thin URL per question.
  • Technical search repair, original research, digital PR and third-party source work sit in the broader AI SEO scope unless the proposal names them.
  • Outputs vary by system, date, location and user context, so repeat observation reduces—but cannot remove—measurement noise.

Questions to settle before anyone buys a tool

What is Answer Engine Optimisation?

Answer Engine Optimisation, or AEO, is the editorial and page-structure work that makes a useful answer easy to find, understand, extract and attribute. It starts with real buyer questions, then builds complete answers backed by evidence and connected to a clear company and service entity.

How is AEO different from AI SEO?

AEO focuses on the answer itself: the question, passage, evidence, page experience and commercial next step. AI SEO is the broader system around it, including technical search health, canonical ownership, entity clarity, source analysis and repeat visibility measurement. AEO can be a focused workstream inside a wider AI SEO programme.

Does every question need its own page?

No. Most questions belong as strong headings and complete answers on an existing service, guide or comparison page. A standalone page is justified only when it has distinct intent, enough independent value, unique evidence and a clear handoff without competing with another owner.

Can AEO guarantee a citation in ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews?

No. No agency controls what an answer system cites. LOKAL can improve the answer, evidence, entity signals and source path, then observe a fixed panel over repeated runs. The report separates a mention, a cited URL and a recommendation rather than treating them as the same result.

How do you measure AEO work?

The baseline records a fixed set of questions, markets and systems. Repeat observations record whether the brand is named, whether a URL is cited, how it is framed and which sources recur. Classic rankings, qualified visits and enquiries remain separate measures.

Can LOKAL work with our existing SEO or content team?

Yes. The scope names who owns question research, subject-matter input, editing, technical changes, approval and reporting. That division matters because two teams publishing competing answers is worse than either team publishing one clear owner.
