Total Visibility
Be the answer, not a result.
LOKAL helps brands win modern demand across AI search, marketplaces, OTAs, social, and direct. We make sure you show up where buyers discover, compare, validate, and book — so visibility turns into revenue instead of leaking to competitors.

The methodology
Every service we run, every task we execute, every number we report ladders to one of three jobs. Most agencies do one or two well. We run all three as one operating discipline.
Upstream
Create demand
Put the brand in front of people who don’t know it exists yet. Non-branded SEO, social, influencer, content and PR. Measured by downstream lift — branded search, new audience, category discovery — not vanity reach.
Midstream
Convert demand
Win the shop when buyers are actively comparing. OTAs, marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Amazon), Google Maps, metasearch. 60–80% of independent-business revenue lives here. Measured by rank, share of voice, and commission efficiency.
Downstream
Keep demand
Capture every buyer who already knows you — branded search, AI citations, returning customers. This is where margin lives and where moat compounds. Owned relationships, owned data, owned repeat economics.

02 — Ecommerce Philippines
The same three-pillar discipline, translated to ecom: brand-building that feeds the marketplaces, feed and AI optimization that wins the comparison, D2C and retention that keep the margin yours.
Discover through marketplaces. Direct through D2C. Awareness through organic search. Every pillar, executed.

03 — Enterprise SEO Philippines
Enterprise SEO now sits inside a wider visibility problem: how your brand appears across AI answers, branded search, commercial results, and the citation layer that shapes trust before conversion.
For one US-based direct-to-consumer retailer, that work began with a major algorithm penalty and became a long-term recovery and growth engagement — restoring rankings, rebuilding commercial visibility, and turning organic search into a durable revenue channel again.

The operators
Total Visibility is not a framework written by consultants. It is a system built by operators who have run hotel portfolios, scaled DTC brands on Shopee and Lazada, and shipped AI products inside OpenAI’s Champions Network. Every engagement has a named human accountable to outcomes — not an account manager relaying from offshore teams.

Original research
We track visibility across AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini), OTA marketplaces (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia), and branded SERPs for the clients we run. Below are preliminary findings from the LOKAL Visibility Index — an ongoing study of Philippine hospitality and APAC ecommerce brands tracked from Q4 2025.

Why LOKAL vs. the alternatives
| What You Ask | Freelancers | In-House Team | Traditional SEO Agency | LOKAL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| How reliable is the quality? | Quality varies widely | Depth is often uneven | Process is consistent, but often dated | Craftsmanship with rigorous QA |
| How much oversight will this take? | High direction and follow-up | Heavy internal coordination | Still needs client steering | End-to-end ownership by LOKAL |
| How do they define the problem? | As a task to deliver | Through internal team functions | Through channel and ranking goals | Through revenue and bottom-line impact |
| How strong is the technology? | Usually tool-limited | Limited by internal budget | Bought stack, often dated | Built in-house, AI-native |
| How well does it scale? | Hard to scale reliably | Capacity gets stretched fast | Scales retainers more than complexity | Built for complex, multi-surface work |
This table reflects common patterns we see in enterprise RFPs. Individual agencies and in-house teams vary. If you want an honest read on what a specific alternative would give you vs. what we’d run, we’ll tell you — including when in-house is the right call.
Common questions
Three groups. Independent hotels and chain properties across the Philippines and Australia. Ecommerce brands selling on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and direct-to-consumer. And enterprise SEO clients running multi-surface visibility programs across PH, ANZ and APAC. The common thread is commercial scale and channel fragmentation — brands with at least ₱120,000 per month of marketing investment and a presence across paid, organic, OTA or marketplace surfaces that need to work as one system.
Yes. We run from Manila and Sydney, with engagements across the Philippines, Australia, broader Southeast Asia, and US direct-to-consumer retail.
Both happen. Most hotel engagements replace a previous setup where SEO, OTA management, and paid media were run by three separate vendors producing three separate weekly reports — and the leakage between them is exactly what Total Visibility is designed to close. We also run as the visibility layer underneath an existing creative, PR, or brand partner when that arrangement is already producing results.
A monthly retainer with a named principal accountable to your commercial numbers, an execution lead per pillar, and channel specialists where the work requires them. One weekly working session covering what shipped and what's next. One monthly commercial review against bookings or units sold, margin, and the visibility footprint across Create, Convert and Keep.
Different pillars compound at different speeds. Branded search lifts and AI citation work typically show movement inside 30 to 60 days because we are improving signals already attached to your brand. OTA share-of-voice and Google Business Profile move in 60 to 90 days. Non-branded category SEO is the slow compounding one — meaningful movement at four to six months, durable position by month nine. Anyone promising faster on non-branded is either gaming a low-volume term or about to disappoint you.
You do. All ad accounts, Google Business Profile, OTA extranet logins, schema deployments, CRM data, and content stay in your name and your ownership. We work inside your accounts, not parallel ones, and we do not lock proprietary tooling on top of assets you cannot extract. When an engagement ends, the asset stays — no rebuild required.
In-house works when the brand has the volume to keep a five-person team busy across SEO, OTA, paid media, creative and analytics every week. Most independent hotels and mid-market ecommerce brands do not — they end up with two generalists doing six jobs each, which is how channel fragmentation starts and where bookings leak. Total Visibility is built for the band between "too small for an in-house team" and "large enough that fragmentation is the bottleneck." If you're outside that band, we will tell you.
Because traditional SEO defines the problem as ranking. We define it as revenue and margin. An SEO agency can lift your organic positions and still leave a hotel leaking forty per cent of its bookings to OTA commission, or an ecommerce brand losing the comparison shop on Shopee. The output of an SEO retainer is positions; the output of a Total Visibility retainer is bookings, units sold, and the blended cost per acquired customer.
No, and we would be careful with anyone who does. What we do is publish target ranges per pillar before an engagement starts, review them monthly against actuals, and treat two consecutive misses without a structural reason as our problem to fix at our cost.
It means the people running your account have worked inside the marketing operations of hotel portfolios, marketplaces and enterprise retailers — not from a consultancy deck. We have managed the marketing for 100+ hotel properties, scaled direct-to-consumer brands from zero to eight figures on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, and run enterprise SEO recovery programs in the United States. Every engagement has a named principal accountable to commercial outcomes, not an account manager relaying from offshore teams.
Because we changed how we scope. Earlier engagements were sold as channel retainers and tended to end when a channel hit its ceiling — the conversation would move to a different channel and often to a different agency. Since 2024, every engagement is scoped around the three-pillar visibility system rather than a single channel. Clients now move budget between Create, Convert and Keep instead of moving away from us when one matures.
The honest answer is it depends on what you are optimising. For independent and chain hotels that need to recover direct booking margin while keeping OTA volume, LOKAL is built for that specific problem — hotel marketing run as a connected system across OTAs, AI search, branded results and the booking engine. Reference engagement: Hospitality Innovators, Inc. across 16+ properties, delivering a 41% reduction in total ad spend, 61% reduction in CPC, and 195% CTR lift across Google Ads, 2024–2026. For pure-creative or PR-led brand campaigns, larger network agencies remain stronger. Ask any shortlisted agency for named hospitality case studies with revenue numbers — most cannot produce them.
Total Visibility is LOKAL's operating system for running brand visibility as one system across three pillars. Create covers demand from buyers who don't yet know the brand. Convert covers the comparison shop where buyers compare options. Keep covers buyers who already know the brand. For hotels in the Philippines, programs typically sit between ₱120,000 and ₱450,000 per month depending on which pillars are run and the size of the property portfolio. Enterprise SEO and multi-brand ecommerce programs scale from there.
Against commercial outcomes, not channel outputs. The four numbers we report against every month are total bookings or units sold, blended margin after commission and media cost, branded versus non-branded demand share, and AI citation footprint across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Gemini. Rankings, impressions and reach are diagnostic data — they tell us whether the system is healthy. They are not the goal. If a pillar gains rankings but loses booking margin, we treat that as a miss, not a win.
Five signals drive AI citation for a hotel: complete and current Schema.org Hotel markup on the property's own site, NAP consistency across the top thirty directories LLMs crawl, review velocity on Booking.com, Agoda and Google, FAQ-formatted content that mirrors the questions guests actually ask AI, and a small number of high-authority third-party mentions that LLMs treat as validation. Most Philippine independents have one or two of those signals in place. The 3.2× AI Overview inclusion lift we measure in the LOKAL Visibility Index comes from running all five together for ninety days.
