How to sell on TikTok Shop in the Philippines in 2026

TikTok Shop is a marketplace with its own fee stack, not a free add-on to posting videos.

What does TikTok Shop cost a Philippine seller in 2026? At minimum: a 2.24% transaction fee (VAT inclusive) on the platform’s stated base, plus category commission that you must read in Seller Centre, plus a PHP 5 order-processing fee per delivered order from 1 September 2026 unless a waiver applies. Those figures come from TikTok Shop Seller University for the Philippines (transaction fee article, 16 July 2026; order-processing fee article, 18 August 2026). Commission is not a single public number on this page because it varies by sub-category and by Marketplace versus Mall.

The ecommerce hub on this site has pointed at a TikTok Shop guide for months. This is that page. It is a fee-and-setup reading path, not a ranking promise and not a claim that TikTok Shop is the right first channel for every seller.

Official Philippines fee lines, 2026

2.24% Transaction fee, VAT inclusive (Seller University, 16 July 2026)
₱5 Order processing per delivered order from 1 September 2026, tax inclusive
50 Monthly waived orders for existing sellers after the discount ends
90 days New-seller window: first listing in the past 90 days, next month waived

Confirm commission in Seller Centre

TikTok Shop names three seller fees in the Philippines: commission, a transaction fee, and a shipping service fee.

The Philippines introduction to seller fees (8 May 2026) says commission is by product sub-category, with Marketplace and Mall rates diverging from 15 January 2025. The transaction fee applies to successful orders. A shipping service fee applies on delivered orders that use platform free-shipping incentives, capped at PHP 100 per item.

Third-party blogs publish category bands (for example 2–4% electronics, 8–12% food). Treat those as unverified unless they match your Seller Centre line. This page does not reprint an unofficial table as if it were TikTok’s live schedule.

From 23 July 2026, 00:00 Philippine time, the transaction fee is calculated as (price after seller discount + customer-paid shipping fee) × 2.24%. Platform subsidies are excluded from that base. Worked example from Seller University: item ₱1,000, seller discount ₱50, platform subsidy ₱50, customer shipping ₱60 → fee base ₱1,010 → ₱22.62.

  1. 01

Read Seller Centre, not a screenshot from last year

Registration, identity and category rules change. Start at seller-ph.tiktok.com and complete the live application, not a copied checklist from a blog.

  2. 02

    Price for the full stack

Build commission, 2.24% transaction fee, order processing, shipping service fee and ads into the margin before you discount. The Shopee guide on this site makes the same point for a different platform.

  3. 03

    List what you can fulfil

Late shipments and unhandled orders are how marketplace accounts get restricted. Do not list a SKU you cannot ship on the platform’s clock.

  4. 04

    Keep product facts consistent

Title, price, stock and shipping information have to match what you can deliver. That is also the information other surfaces, including AI answers, will repeat if they cite you.

Where this sits next to Shopee and Lazada

Shopee remains the volume default for most Philippine SMEs in our other guides.

Lazada is the hedge for higher average order value. TikTok Shop is worth a parallel listing when you can support content, ads and the fulfilment the platform requires — not because a hub FAQ promised a page.

If you already sell on Shopee, do not copy prices across without recomputing the TikTok fee stack. If you are choosing a first channel, read the Shopee setup guide and the Lazada guide with this one, then pick the channel you can operate every week.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I sell on TikTok Shop in the Philippines?

Register as a seller in TikTok Shop Seller Centre, complete the identity and business information the platform asks for, list products that match the category rules, and confirm current commission and settlement terms in Seller Centre before you price. This guide is a reading path, not a substitute for the live Seller Centre screens.

What fees does TikTok Shop charge Philippine sellers in 2026?

TikTok Shop Seller University (Philippines) states a transaction fee of 2.24% VAT inclusive. Commission is category-based and differs for Marketplace and Mall sellers. An order-processing fee of PHP 5 (tax inclusive) applies per successfully delivered order from 1 September 2026, with waivers for new sellers and for the first 50 orders a month for existing sellers. Confirm the live rates in Seller Centre.

Is the transaction fee still 2.24%?

Yes, according to TikTok Shop Seller University’s Philippines transaction-fee article, last updated 16 July 2026. From 23 July 2026 the computation uses price after seller discount plus customer-paid shipping, still at 2.24% VAT inclusive. Platform subsidies are not part of that base.

When does the PHP 5 order-processing fee start?

TikTok Shop says the discounted rate ends at 00:00 on 1 September 2026, Philippine time. From then the regular fee is PHP 5 tax inclusive per successfully delivered order. New sellers (first listing in the past 90 days) get the next calendar month waived. Existing sellers get the first 50 orders each month waived.

Should I start on TikTok Shop, Shopee or Lazada?

It depends on where your buyers already watch and shop, and on whether you can make videos and handle the fulfilment the platform requires. Many Philippine sellers run Shopee as the volume channel and add TikTok Shop when they can support content and ads. Compare current fees on each platform’s official seller pages before you commit inventory.
