Do I need a paid Claude account?
No. A free Claude account covers most of the session — chat, built-in skills (pptx, docx, pdf, web search), and the first two hands-on prompts. You'll only need Claude Pro ($20/mo) for the competitive intel exercise, which generates full .pptx decks. We'll flag clearly which exercises need Pro on the day.
Is this beginner-friendly?
Yes — but it moves fast. You don't need any coding or technical background. If you've used ChatGPT or Claude at least once, you'll be fine. We start from first principles and build up to live demos and hands-on exercises within the first 30 minutes. The session is designed for working professionals, VAs, and SME owners — not developers.
What should I bring?
A laptop and a Claude account (free tier is enough for most exercises). That's it. We'll have wifi at Acceler8. Snacks, coffee, and all printed materials are provided. If you have a specific business problem in mind — a report you want summarised, reviews you want analysed — bring that data too. The hands-on prompts work best on real material.
Will slides and materials be shared after?
Yes. Every registered attendee gets the full slide deck, the complete prompt library (copy-paste ready), and access to LOKAL's skills guidebook. These are sent to your email within 48 hours after the session.
Will there be a recording?
We're planning to record the session, but we can't guarantee full availability due to venue and demo constraints. The printed workbook, prompt guide, and digital resources are designed to be self-sufficient — you'll have everything you need to re-run the exercises on your own after the day.
Is there a group discount?
Yes, for groups of 3 or more from the same company. Email us at [email protected] with the subject "Group registration — July 8" and we'll sort it out. Corporate invoicing is also available on request.
Can I get a refund if I can't attend?
Cancellations made at least 5 days before the event (July 3 or earlier) are eligible for a full refund. After that, your registration can be transferred to another person — just let us know the name and email of your replacement at [email protected]. No refunds for no-shows.
Is this session online or in-person only?
In-person only. The hands-on format — live demos, real-time troubleshooting, and working through prompts on your own data — is built for the room. An online version may be offered in a future run. Follow LOKAL at lkl.ai for updates.
