Hands-on AI
A five-hour workshop for people who haven’t started using AI yet.
You come in having never really used AI. You leave with three things working on your own work, and one job you can hand to AI on Monday. Everyone in the room is starting where you are — that’s the point. No coding. No jargon. Bring a laptop.
- Everyone in the room is starting where you are
- In the first fifteen minutes you’ll ask AI to do something real for you, with help
- Three free Google tools to use — nothing to sign up and pay for
- You go home having built your own AI helper, and a plan for Monday
- And you keep our learning community, newsletter and a 30-day check-in

THE FORMAT
You’ll spend most of the day trying it yourself.
Not watching slides for five hours. We show you something small, then you try it, with someone right there if it doesn’t work. About 3 hours and 35 minutes of the day is you with your laptop open — roughly three-quarters of it.
That’s not us being demanding. It’s the only way any of this sticks: watching someone else use AI feels productive and disappears by Monday. Trying it once, badly, with help, doesn’t.
WHY THIS WORKSHOP
You’ve been hearing about AI for two years. Nobody showed you where it fits.
You’ve probably opened ChatGPT once, asked it something random, and closed the tab. That’s normal. Nobody showed you where it fits in your actual job.
That’s what this day is for. Five hours, your own work, and three tools you’ll still be using next month.
WHO SHOULD COME
Built for the person who hasn’t started yet.
- You’ve never used AI at work, or you tried and it didn’t stick
- You’re not techy, and you don’t want to be
- You do normal office work: emails, reports, plans, decks, admin, people, numbers
IF YOU’RE ON THE FENCE
You won’t be the only one starting from zero.
Most people who haven’t started with AI aren’t too busy, and they’re not unconvinced. They just don’t fancy being the slowest person in the room. Fair enough — so we built the day around that. Here’s what it means in practice.
You can’t get quietly stuck
No jargon, nothing to keep up with
You’ll understand what’s happening
THE TOOLS WE’LL USE
Three free Google tools. Nothing to pay to get started.
TOOL 01
Gemini
TOOL 02

TOOL 03

WHAT YOU TAKE HOME
By 5:30 pm you’ll have done four real things.
- 01
Written something
The thing you’d normally sit and stare at for an hour. Written, on the day, on your real work.
- 02
Read something long
A report, a transcript, a contract — read in a few minutes, with what mattered pulled out.
- 03
Built your own Gem
A helper you set up once and use again every week. Yours, kept, working when you leave.
- 04
Written a Monday plan
One job you’ll hand to AI on Monday, written down before you go home on Thursday.
You also get a workbook, a printed list of wordings you can copy, and a LOKAL certificate. And you don’t go home on your own — see what happens after Thursday, below.
AFTER THURSDAY
Most training ends at 5:30 pm. This one doesn’t.
You’ve probably sat through training that felt useful and then evaporated by the following week. That’s not a discipline problem — it’s what happens when the support stops at the door. So it doesn’t.

WHY LOKAL
We check whether people actually kept using it.
Most trainers never look past the feedback form. These are our own numbers — how many people we’ve taught, how many would sit through it again, and how many were still using AI week to week once the training was over.
We’re in the Claude Partner Network, hold Anthropic’s Claude Certified Architect (CCA-F), and are members of both the OpenAI Champions and Partner Networks. Our change management is Prosci-certified — that’s the discipline that decides whether new habits survive the week after. And we’ve been at this since 2017, with 65 corporate clients. We teach from daily practice, not from a deck.
WHO’S TEACHING
CJ Masungsong
Director of Training & Marketing · LOKAL
CJ has spent 20+ years in sales, marketing and training — the last three running AI workflows for businesses across APAC. He has personally led 20+ LOKAL sessions in the Philippines, for hotels, retail brands and enterprise teams.
He uses AI every day on campaign planning, client work and content production, and builds the same tools he teaches. So you learn what actually works in practice, not what looks good in a framework deck.
CJ and the trainers walk the room the whole time. If you get stuck, you won’t stay stuck — that is the entire reason the room is capped at 30.
WHAT PEOPLE SAID AFTER
From people who’d never used it either.
I’m not techy at all. I still ask IT to help me with Excel. But I finished the workshop having built my own AI assistant for HR, customized to our company policies. CJ and the team made sure no one was left behind. If I can do it, anyone can.

Covers
The venue, your workbook, the list of wordings you can copy, and your certificate — plus everything after Thursday: our learning community, the biweekly newsletter, a live Q&A two weeks later, and a check-in from us in your first 30 days.
Can’t make it on the day? Send a workmate in your place — your seat isn’t wasted.
Reserve my seatFor context: a self-paced online course runs ₱0–5,000, and you do it alone — if you finish it at all. Live instructor-led programs start around ₱30,000. This sits inside what the self-paced courses cost, except there’s a trainer in the room with you: ₱600 an hour, or ₱2,500 each if you bring someone.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
Questions people ask first
Do I need to know anything about AI already?
No. This workshop is built for people who have never really used it — you may have opened ChatGPT once and closed the tab. That is the starting point we design for. No coding, no jargon, no prerequisites.
What if I’m the slowest one in the room?
You won’t be, and that isn’t luck — it’s the reason we ask people who already use AI every day to take a different session. Everyone in the room is starting where you are. There are 30 seats and trainers walking the room the whole time, so you never have to raise your hand in front of everyone to get help. We come to you.
What do I need to bring?
A laptop, and some of your own real work — an email you have been putting off, a long report you need to read, a task you do every week. We use your work, not made-up examples.
Do I have to pay for any AI tools?
No. We teach three free Google tools — Gemini, NotebookLM and Gems. There is nothing to sign up and pay for to get started, and nothing to buy to follow along on the day. If you later decide a paid tier is worth it, that is your call to make afterwards — not something the workshop needs.
My office uses ChatGPT / Claude / Copilot, not Gemini. Is this still useful?
Yes. Everything we hand you is just words you type in, and the same words work in ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot. We teach you how to think about it rather than which buttons to press, so the tool on the screen is the easiest part to swap.
How much of the day is hands-on?
About 3 hours and 35 minutes of the five hours is you, with your laptop open, doing the work — roughly 75%. The rest is us showing you how, plus questions. Trainers walk the room the whole time.
How much does it cost, and what does that cover?
₱3,000 on your own. Come with a workmate and it is ₱5,000 for the two of you — ₱2,500 each. The pair rate is for two people together; it is not a group discount, so you do need someone with you to get it. Either way that covers the venue, your workbook, a printed list of wordings you can copy, and your certificate — plus everything after: access to our learning community, our biweekly tips-and-tricks newsletter, a live Q&A two weeks later, and a check-in from us during your first 30 days.
What if I already use AI every day?
Then skip this one. If you want agents and automation, that is our other workshop — email [email protected] and we will point you at the right session.
What if I pay and then can’t make it?
Then we save you a spot at the next session. You don’t lose your seat and you don’t lose your money — just tell us and we’ll move you across.
What happens after the workshop?
You keep going, with us. You get access to our learning community, our biweekly newsletter of tips and tricks for people still finding their feet, a live Q&A two weeks later once you have tried it on real work, and a check-in from us during your first 30 days to see how you are actually getting on.
How many seats are there?
Thirty. It is capped so the trainers can reach everyone in the room. When they are gone, the next session is the one after this.
