What is Lakbay AI?

Lakbay (Filipino for “journey”) is our in-person opener for people new to AI. Teams of three or four play four rounds in about an hour. Each round is a real task they finish and keep: a plan, visuals, a short video, a podcast.

What does a LOKAL AI training session look like?

Your people run a first prompt on their own task within 15 minutes. Then they work through their real workflows, build a reusable project brain and turn the prompts that worked into Skills. They leave with a certificate, a prompt library and 30 days of support.

Which departments can you train?

Marketing, sales, finance, customer experience, engineering, and HR with supply chain, each with a role-specific track built on that team’s own tasks. A programme can combine department tracks with shared foundations.

How much does AI training cost in the Philippines?

In-house programmes are scoped by team size, format and preparation, and open cohorts charge per person. Tell us the team and the work and we send a written scope within one business day. No figure on this page is a quote.

Do you offer AI training online or onsite?

Both. We run live online training anywhere in the Philippines and onsite anywhere in Metro Manila. Private sessions for one company are the most common format. Sessions run in English or Taglish.

How long is an AI workshop?

A half-day, a full day or a two-to-three-day team sprint. The right length depends on how deep the team wants to go and whether it covers one function or several. Many teams start with one workshop and stack more into a 90-day rollout.

How many people can join a session?

In-house programmes are sized to your team, and we confirm the group size in the written scope. Open cohorts take individuals and small teams.

Is there a certificate of completion?

Yes. Every participant receives a LOKAL certificate of completion, a workbook, a copy-paste prompt library and 30 days of support after the session.

Which AI tools do you teach?

ChatGPT and Custom GPTs, Claude and Claude Skills, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Google Gemini with NotebookLM. We match the tools to what your business already runs. LOKAL is a member of the Claude Partner Network and the OpenAI Partner Network.

Do participants need a technical background?

No. Most participants are not technical: specialists, marketers, HR, sales and executives. If you have written an email, you can follow the first exercise.

How is this different from a university or free online course?

Courses teach AI as a subject. We train on your team’s own workflows and review use with managers afterwards. The point is a task people finish differently on Monday, not a module they complete.

Can you train our whole company?

Yes. Company-wide programmes start with a leadership briefing, run role-based workshops by function and hand follow-through to managers. LOKAL has trained approximately 1,500 people in the last two years. See the corporate AI training page for the programme.

How do you measure whether the training worked?

We agree the workflows before the session, then review them with managers at 30, 60 and 90 days: what people now complete with AI, how they check the output and where they still need help.
